Reissue, 45 RPM, Single

In 1965 in Phoenix, Arizona, a band named The Earwigs changed their name to Spiders and became the house band at Jack Curtis' VIP Club. Jack took them into Audio Recorders and the band recorded 2 songs which were released on a 45. Shortly after, the group changed their name to Alice Cooper and as they say, the rest is history. The band members at the time were: Vince Furnier (later, Alice Cooper), John Tatum, Glen Buxton, Dennis Dunaway and John Speer This 45 is NOT the original 1965 release. It is an authorized, licensed and authentic re-issue from the original label, Mascot Records. There are very few copies still in existence of the original release. This re-issue is itself available in very limited quantities. A great collector's item for the fans and for everyone who was there in Phoenix when it all happened. 2 CDs are also available from Mascot Records - 'The Mascot Records / Jack Curtis Story 1958-1973' -- 32 great tracks of many of Arizona's best and favorite artists. And 'P-Nut Butter Vs. The Vibratos / Battle of the Bands' -- 2 of AZ's most popular bands in the 60s.
